I need help finding a large birdcage?
25 Dec 2009
I know it’s a weird request, but I am a film student and I am making a short film about a sad teenage girl who was captured by a lonely old man in a mansion. The old man keeps her in a birdcage in his living room! Poor girl!
Anyway, the birdcage I need is for her! The kind of cage I am looking for needs to be round, with gold bars spaced a few inches apart, but thick enough for her to grab onto. I don’t want a massive cage. in fact, I want her to barely have enough room to stand in it…possibly 6 foot high on the inside, and about 3 foot wide on the inside. I also want a swinging perch inside for her to sit on.
Anyway, I checked with multiple cage suppliers, but the only large cages they have are square, plain, and have thin, skinny wires as bars! They are meant for cockatoos and macaws and bigger birds.
The one i’m looking for should "resemble" a small canary or parakeet cage, or a decorative antique birdcage, but be large enough to fit a girl inside. Does anyone know a good place to look? Please let me know if you think of anything.
Either you built yourself one or you can do it at the pc.
You should have a look how to use a blue box. Film her in the blue box and then get her via pc in there.

25 Dec 2009
I try to keep him in the cage cause when hes out he starts getting this sort of weird attack… like hes leg is paralyzed or something and then he starts screaming. I keep him and and he seems fine, but hes leg looks like it hurts
what is hapenning?
Thanks, Laurent (im french forget the spelling mistakes.)
My bird did same thing, might be sprained, got better in a few months, but you should see a vet to be sure. Becuase my bird never acted like it hurt.

How to paint a Bird Cage?
16 Dec 2009
I just inherited a really nice parrot cage. It’s a little rusty and I was told to spray paint it. What am I supposed to spray it with before the paint? I know it starts with an L, but I can’t find it anywhere.
Thanks.
I would use one of these water based spray paints. They are non toxic and I doubt they would harm a parrot.
