Pilot my 6yr old Quaker Parrot has finally learned how to undo the locks on his cage door.

This is a real problem since we have dogs who want to find out if he tastes like chicken. We have atiels in cages nearby who he could injure and our African Greys who are capable of killing or seriously injuring him.

Time for new locks.
He says a few things in the Video

2:13 - Go Potty
2:17 - Ouch!
2:20 - Go lay down

I have 2 parakeets and theres bird seed all around the cage. Its mostly because of the green one. Is there any screens out there thats like a window screen that can cover the cage so its not as messy but you can still see them? If so where can I buy at? Thanks

what i do is go to the fabric store and get some thick grade shower curtain and use clear packing tape to tape it half way up the cage… it works for me and its much cheeper than screen

Okay I've had this cage for about half a year. It was for my baby Quaker, but now she is a big girl, and needs a bigger cage, and I've tried typing into search, but all I get is a few bird cage sites that offer small crappy little bird cages for an arm and a leg.

I DO NOT want a Bird cage from Petco or Petsmart.

So anyone know of any good online bird cage stores that actually care about the birds health, are a good size that don't cost $500
Because I know those expensive of cages are for more larger birds, and I don't have THAT type of money.

Something around $100-200 is ideal.

Please help me, my baby needs a bigger and better cage, and her mommy can't afford high elite bird cages.

You can check out the following links to see if there is any upcoming bird shows or bird fairs in your area:

http://www.birdsnways.com/birds/shows.htm

http://www.parrotpages.com/links/birdfairs+shows.shtml

You can usually find some great deals on cages…and in the price range you're interested in.

You can also do a search using parrot-cages as your search criteria & you'll get over 100,000 hits.

Good luck…
